1) Election of Members
Under the terms of our new constitution, four existing committee members
must stand down and, if they wish, put themselves forward for
re-election. The new constitution is a good tool for making the
association more democratic and participatory. It’s important that we
don’t leave all the work and all the creativity to the same old faces,
so please have a think about whether you could volunteer some time. The
only obligation is to attend committee meetings (about one a month),
which are very convivial as they are held in the Miners Arms! Committee
members also undertake other tasks as necessary, but these are optional.

Candidates for election will be asked to make a brief case for selection
at the AGM. If you would like to stand for election, please submit your

In line with Financial Conduct Authority guidelines, the committee proposes that in view of the association’s reduced commitments and financial responsibilities that there be no audit of the 20015-6 accounts
