September 2011

Carrots, Fennel, beans still, courgettes still escaping, mustard greens & mizuna; and not forgetting the apples, raspberries and flowers; spuds, onions & shallots too from store. sweetcorn & parsley didn’t come right for me this year, pumpkins but no butternut squash – it’s a mystery.
July 2011
I’ve just pulled my onions out of the ground before this lalest patch of rain. As it was about 15% had already got white rot – should have had them out before the last rains. Good crop though nevertheless – lovely big onions. It looks like the Sturon avoided the rot better than the flatter Stuttgart.
June 2011

first early spuds in full flow, garlic & winter onions dug before the rain rotted any more of them, peas & sugar snaps doing well, still some broad beans, loads of raspberries, strawberries, some young carrots, lettuce, rocket, leaf beet …

April 2011
Loads of asparagus now , rhubarb, broad leaved parsley, mint, oregano; purple sprouting broccoli’s just about coming to an end

Planting
Late summer & autumn 2011
flinging handfulls of seed anywhere, leaf beet, spinnach mizuna & mustard all over the place, some rows of parsley, beetroots and turnip and stuff.
